Temporary Fixing Glue
Fixing Glue is an essential companion in the Cloisonné creation process, designed to give you greater control and flexibility as you work. It holds sand or enamel powders in place during layout and design, while still allowing for easy adjustments before final sealing.
Purpose & Benefits:
-
Adjustable Hold – Offers just enough adhesion to keep powders stable during design, yet remains reworkable for fine-tuning.
-
Creative Flexibility – Enables you to modify or perfect your composition without disrupting the rest of the piece.
How to Use:
-
Mix the Temporary Fixing Glue with water at a ratio of 1:3.
-
Blend the diluted glue into your sand to create a soft, workable adhesive.
-
Apply the mixture to your design surface as desired.
-
To revise solidified areas, lightly mist them with water—this reactivates the glue and allows for easy changes.
Important Note:
This glue is intended for temporary use only. Once your design is finalized, be sure to apply Laminating Glue for long-term adhesion and protection.
With Temporary Fixing Glue, you gain the freedom to explore, adjust, and perfect every detail of your artwork—before committing to the final form.
Laminating Glue
Our Laminating Glue is expertly formulated to support the creation of vibrant and long-lasting Cloisonné artworks. It helps preserve the true colors of your design while providing a flexible yet durable bond that respects the delicate nature of the piece.
Highlights:
-
Crystal Clear Finish – Maintains the brilliance and clarity of your original colors without dulling or discoloration.
-
Protective Coating – Once cured, it forms a transparent shield over your artwork, guarding against wear and damage.
How to Use:
-
Pour the Laminating Glue into a spray bottle for easy application.
-
When the sand or enamel powder are semi-dry (still slightly tacky), spray an even coat across the entire surface.
-
Let the piece lay flat for 12–24 hours to allow the glue to fully cure. This step secures the sand in place and forms a clear protective layer.
-
For added strength and protection, repeat the process 2–3 times as needed.
With our Laminating Glue, you not only reinforce the structure of your Cloisonné work but also ensure it remains visually stunning and well-preserved over time.
